Crispy Baklava (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pack of filo pastry sheets.
02 - 200 grams of walnuts.
03 - 200 grams of almonds.
04 - 200 grams of pistachios.
05 - 250 grams of melted salted butter.
06 - 300 grams of sugar.
07 - 3 tablespoons of honey.
08 - 150 ml of water.
09 - Flavoring of your choice (vanilla, orange blossom, lemon, cinnamon, or rose).

# Instructions:

01 - Chop up the walnuts, almonds, and pistachios into pieces. Keep some chunks for an added crunch.
02 - Trim your filo sheets so they fit the baking dish. Use melted butter to brush each sheet. Layer 10 buttered sheets, a layer of nuts, 5 more buttered sheets, another layer of nuts, 5 additional buttered sheets, another nut layer, and finish off with 10 top buttered sheets.
03 - Slice the baklava into diamond or square shapes. Pop it into the oven at 200°C for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
04 - Simmer the sugar, honey, and water with your chosen flavor for 15-20 minutes to thicken. Let it cool down completely.
05 - Pour the cooled syrup over the hot baklava. Make sure it's soaked evenly everywhere.
06 - Sprinkle some chopped pistachios or almonds on top.
