Heart Shaped Donuts (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1/4 cup melted butter
02 - 1 teaspoon salt
03 - 3 eggs
04 - 1 1/4 cups milk
05 - 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
06 - 1 tablespoon baking powder
07 - 1 cup sugar
08 - 3 cups flour

→ Icing

09 - 2 cups powdered sugar
10 - 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
11 - 1/4 cup milk

→ Decorating

12 - Sprinkles of your choice
13 - Food color gels in pink and red

# Instructions:

01 - Turn the oven on to 400°F and coat your donut pan with grease so nothing sticks.
02 - Stir the dry stuff together in one bowl. In a second bowl, mix the wet stuff. Add the wet to the dry and stir until it looks smooth.
03 - Squeeze the batter into the pan. Bake for about 10 minutes, then check if they're done.
04 - Combine the icing ingredients. Dip your cooled donuts into the icing. Add drops of food coloring for pretty pink tones. Toss on sprinkles while everything's still wet.

# Notes:

01 - These cook super fast, so keep a close eye on them.
02 - Start icing the light pink donuts first before deepening the color.
