Sausage Breakfast Dish (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Defrosted frozen hashbrowns (16 ounces)
02 - Ground turkey or pork sausage (1 pound)
03 - Grated sharp cheddar cheese (2 cups)
04 - 6 large eggs
05 - Half a cup of milk or cream
06 - 1 teaspoon of kosher salt
07 - 1/2 teaspoon of ground black pepper

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 350°F and butter a 9x9 or 7x11 pan.
02 - Break sausage into bits and brown it in a pan over medium heat. Get rid of any extra fat.
03 - Beat together the eggs, pepper, salt, and milk until smooth.
04 - In your dish, layer the hashbrowns first, followed by sausage, and then cheese. Pour the egg mix evenly over it all.
05 - Bake 40-45 minutes until the top is golden and the eggs have set. Let it cool for 5-10 minutes before eating.

01 - You can prep this ahead of time and leave it in the fridge overnight.
02 - Works well with different cheeses and meats.
03 - Double the quantity to serve a bigger group.
