Ham Creamy Croquettes (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 125 g of diced ham.
02 - 500 ml of whole milk.
03 - 1/2 minced onion.
04 - 35 g of butter.
05 - 1/2 clove of garlic, chopped.
06 - 35 g of flour.
07 - Bread crumbs for coating.
08 - Flour for coating.
09 - 1 egg for coating.
10 - Pinch of salt and pepper.
11 - Vegetable oil for frying.

# Instructions:

01 - Melt the butter, toss in ham, onion, and garlic. Let it cook for a couple of minutes.
02 - Sprinkle in the flour and let it cook for about a minute or two.
03 - Slowly pour in the milk while stirring until it thickens up. Add some pepper and salt.
04 - Spread the mixture flat on a tray and freeze for about 25 minutes.
05 - Shape croquettes and coat in flour, egg, and breadcrumbs.
06 - Fry at 180°C until golden, then drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.

# Notes:

01 - Pair these with your favorite dip, like tomato salsa or garlic aioli, or a fresh green salad.
02 - You can make these ahead, freeze them raw, and fry when needed.
