Ham cheese bites (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 egg, lightly whisked.
02 - 1 sheet of puff pastry.
03 - 1 cup of cooked ham, diced.
04 - 1 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar or your favorite kind).
05 - Salt to taste.
06 - A pinch of pepper.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
02 - Spread out the puff pastry, then cut it into rectangular shapes.
03 - Add some diced ham and a layer of cheese onto each rectangle.
04 - Roll the rectangles up and use the beaten egg to seal the edges.
05 - Put the rolls on a tray with parchment paper. Brush the tops with leftover egg and sprinkle a little salt and pepper over them.
06 - Bake in the oven for about 15–20 minutes, or until they're golden and crispy.

# Notes:

01 - They taste best when served warm.
