Grilled octopus marinated (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 whole octopus.
02 - 1 lemon.
03 - 2 garlic cloves.
04 - 1/4 cup olive oil.
05 - 1 teaspoon dried oregano.
06 - Salt and pepper to taste.

# Instructions:

01 - Massage the octopus with salt for 5-10 minutes or boil it for 30-40 minutes until tender.
02 - Combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, oregano, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
03 - Coat the octopus thoroughly with the marinade, then chill in the fridge for at least an hour or overnight.
04 - Set the grill to 200°C and let it heat up.
05 - Cook the octopus on the grill for 15-20 minutes per side until it's nicely charred and soft.
06 - Allow it to sit for a few minutes before plating.

01 - Feel free to swap in herbs like rosemary or thyme for a twist on the marinade.
02 - Cover with foil while grilling if you want to keep it extra moist.
