Get your oven heated up to 200°C (about 400°F).

Use a cookie cutter to make circles out of the puff pastry. Place them on a lined baking tray.

Spoon some onion jam onto each piece, then add some crumbled goat cheese on top.

Fold in the edges just a bit to create small pockets.

Brush the edges with beaten egg. If you like, sprinkle some sesame seeds on them.

Bake for around 15 minutes until the pastries are puffed and golden.
