Cheesy Garlic Knots (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dough

01 - 16 oz of pizza dough, either homemade or store-bought
02 - 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, shredded

→ Garlic Butter

03 - 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter
04 - 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
05 - 2 tablespoons parsley, freshly chopped
06 - 1 teaspoon of salt

# Instructions:

01 - Heat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Put parchment paper over the baking sheet.
02 - Cut the pizza dough into 12 equal sections. Press each section into a small rectangular shape.
03 - Spoon a little bit of mozzarella into the center of each piece. Wrap the dough over the cheese and pinch the edges shut to make a knot.
04 - Stir together the melted butter with minced garlic, salt, and parsley in a small bowl.
05 - Arrange the knots on the parchment-lined sheet. Generously coat each with the garlic butter mix. Bake for about 12-15 minutes or until they've browned and the cheese has melted.
06 - Take out of the oven, optionally add another brush of garlic butter, and enjoy while hot, dipping in marinara sauce.

# Notes:

01 - Make sure to seal the dough completely so cheese doesn't ooze out.
02 - For a shinier finish, brush the knots with an egg wash before putting them in the oven.
03 - Let them sit for a few moments after baking so the cheese firms up a little.
