Fried Oreo Treats (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 quarts of vegetable oil.
02 - 1 large egg.
03 - 1 cup of milk.
04 - About 1 1/4 cups of dry pancake mix.
05 - 1 (18.71 oz) package of Double Stuf Oreos.
06 - Powdered sugar to sprinkle on.

# Instructions:

01 - Put some paper towels on a plate.
02 - Stir together the egg, milk, and pancake mix. If it’s too thin, add extra mix.
03 - Warm the oil to about 375°F.
04 - Work in small batches (4-6 cookies each): Dip each Oreo in the batter, let the extra drip off, and fry for 1-2 minutes per side till they’re golden brown.
05 - Move them to the paper towels to soak up the oil.
06 - Sprinkle powdered sugar over the top.

# Notes:

01 - Stick to a neutral-tasting oil that can handle high heat.
02 - Don’t crowd the pan so the temperature stays steady.
03 - These taste best when they’re hot and freshly made.
04 - You can warm them up in a 425°F oven for 3-5 minutes.
05 - Keep stored in the fridge for up to three days.
