Flavorful Ginger Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Fresh ginger - 50g
02 - Chicken (breast and boneless thighs) - 250g
03 - Garlic - 2 cloves
04 - Neutral cooking oil - 1 tbsp

→ Sauce

05 - Tomato paste - 1 tsp
06 - Light soy sauce - 1 tbsp
07 - Sweet soy sauce - 1 tbsp
08 - Fish sauce (nuoc-mam) - 1 tsp
09 - Veal stock - 1 tsp
10 - White Noilly Prat or Martini - 10 cl
11 - Espelette pepper (or mild chili) - 1 tsp

→ Toppings and Side Dishes

12 - Green vegetables - as a side
13 - Rice - to serve
14 - Chopped parsley, chives, or cilantro - for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Peel the garlic and ginger. Mince the garlic and slice the ginger into thin strips. Cut the chicken into chunks.
02 - In a sauté pan, fry the chicken and ginger with the neutral oil. Toss in the garlic and stir well.
03 - Mix all the sauce ingredients together. Put the lid on, let it simmer gently for 30 minutes.
04 - After 30 minutes, check the thickness of the sauce. If needed, cook uncovered a bit longer to make it caramelized and thick.
05 - Top with chopped parsley, chives, or cilantro. Serve alongside rice and green vegetables.
