French Toast Air Fryer (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Bread Base

01 - 6 slices of bread (slightly old is ideal), diced into small cubes

→ Custard Mixture

02 - 3 big eggs, brought to room temperature
03 - 1/4 cup milk
04 - 1/4 cup brown sugar for a hint of caramel flavor
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
06 - 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
07 - A pinch (1/4 teaspoon) of fine kosher salt

# Instructions:

01 - In a big bowl, stir together eggs, milk, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and vanilla until it's smooth and completely blended.
02 - Dice your bread into little cubes, then soak them all in the custard. Make sure every piece gets completely covered.
03 - Spray a bit of non-stick cooking spray into the air fryer basket. Add your custard-soaked bread cubes in a single, non-overlapping layer.
04 - Cook everything at 350°F for 8–10 minutes. Shake the basket gently halfway to ensure all the pieces crisp up evenly. You're looking for a golden outside and soft inside.
05 - Dish out those yummy, crunchy bites while they're still warm! Toss on powdered sugar, maple syrup, or a handful of fresh fruit—whatever you like best!

# Notes:

01 - Bread that's slightly stale is ideal because it absorbs the custard nicely without getting too mushy.
02 - Cook in smaller batches to let each cube crisp up properly—crowding the basket will mess with the texture.
