Easy Toast Bake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 8 ounces (half a loaf) of French bread, diced.
02 - Half a cup of butter.
03 - Packed brown sugar, 1 cup.
04 - 6 eggs, large.
05 - 2 full cups of milk.
06 - Vanilla extract, 2 teaspoons.
07 - Divided cinnamon, 2 teaspoons.
08 - 1 tablespoon of brown sugar to sprinkle on top.
09 - Optional: powdered sugar for dusting.

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 425°F. Grease up a 13x9 inch pan with butter.
02 - Combine butter with brown sugar in a small pot. Heat till smooth, then pour into the pan evenly.
03 - Scatter the cubed bread evenly over the butter-sugar base in the pan.
04 - Whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Pour everything over the bread so it's all coated.
05 - Top everything off by sprinkling the extra cinnamon and brown sugar.
06 - Pop it in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes till golden brown. Add powdered sugar on top if you want.
