Easy butter cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 175 g of softened butter.
02 - Powdered sugar for coating.
03 - 250 g of flour.
04 - 75 g of confectioners' sugar.

# Instructions:

01 - Toss the flour, softened butter, and confectioners' sugar into a mixing bowl. Use the flat beater on your stand mixer and combine everything till it turns into a smooth dough.
02 - Shape the dough into a log, roll it in powdered sugar, and wrap it tightly in plastic wrap. Chill it in the fridge for at least an hour.
03 - Turn your oven on to 180°C (350°F) to preheat. Remove the dough from the wrap and slice it into pieces about 1 cm thick. Lay the slices out on a baking sheet.
04 - Bake in the oven for around 8 to 10 minutes, or until the cookies just start to turn golden.
05 - Let the cookies cool completely on a wire rack before enjoying.

# Notes:

01 - These cookies go wonderfully as a snack or paired with coffee.
02 - The dough can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for later.
