Toss the flour, softened butter, and confectioners' sugar into a mixing bowl. Use the flat beater on your stand mixer and combine everything till it turns into a smooth dough.

Shape the dough into a log, roll it in powdered sugar, and wrap it tightly in plastic wrap. Chill it in the fridge for at least an hour.

Turn your oven on to 180°C (350°F) to preheat. Remove the dough from the wrap and slice it into pieces about 1 cm thick. Lay the slices out on a baking sheet.

Bake in the oven for around 8 to 10 minutes, or until the cookies just start to turn golden.

Let the cookies cool completely on a wire rack before enjoying.
