Crispy Green Beans (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 spoons of butter
02 - 1/4 spoon of garlic powder
03 - 1/8 spoon of black pepper
04 - 3/4 spoon salt
05 - 1 cup whole milk
06 - 1 cup veggie broth
07 - 8 ounces of mushrooms
08 - 2 minced garlic cloves
09 - 4 ounces cream cheese
10 - 1 spoon of olive oil
11 - 24 ounces frozen green beans, cut
12 - 1 cup crispy-fried onions
13 - 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350ยบ and let it heat up. Chop the mushrooms into small bits, and mince the garlic finely.
02 - Heat up a large pan with olive oil set to medium. Toss in the mushrooms, sprinkle on a bit of salt and pepper, and cook until they're soft. Add garlic and cook until no liquid is left in the pan.
03 - Add butter and let it melt, then stir in the flour to create a thick paste at the bottom of the pan. Stir constantly for about 2 minutes until it turns a light brown.
04 - Pour in the milk, veggie broth, and garlic powder. Stir everything well, making sure to scrape up any bits stuck to the bottom. Bring it to a simmer and let it thicken up.
05 - Drop in the cream cheese and mix it in until it's melted and totally smooth.
06 - Mix in the frozen green beans right into the sauce, letting them heat up as the sauce gets bubbly. Taste and add more seasoning if you need to.
07 - Mix 1/4 cup of crispy onions into the beans and sauce. Scoop everything into a baking dish and top it with the rest of the crispy onions.
08 - Pop it in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the onion topping is toasty brown and the sides of the dish are bubbling.
