Creamy Garlic Sauce (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base Ingredients

01 - One and a half cups or so of whole milk or half-and-half
02 - Two to three tablespoons of plain flour
03 - A small handful of garlic cloves (about 4), minced
04 - A splash (2 tablespoons) of olive oil

→ Seasonings

05 - A sprinkle, about 1/4 teaspoon, of fine salt
06 - 1/4 teaspoon of dried oregano leaves
07 - Just a tiny pinch, roughly 1/4 teaspoon, of black pepper

# Instructions:

01 - Heat up some olive oil in a pan over medium heat until it starts to shimmer.
02 - Toss in the garlic and stir it around, cooking for about 3 minutes until the smell fills the air.
03 - Start with 2 tablespoons of flour, then add the salt, oregano, and black pepper. Stir it all together with a whisk.
04 - Pour the milk or half-and-half into the pan while whisking constantly. Keep at it until the mixture thickens and starts bubbling, which should take around 3 minutes.

# Notes:

01 - Need a creamier texture? Blend a bit more flour with milk until smooth, then add it to the bubbling sauce.
02 - It’s a perfect match with pasta, pizza, or lots of other dishes.
