Creamy cod with lemon (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 tablespoon of freshly chopped parsley.
02 - 2 minced garlic cloves.
03 - 3 tablespoons of butter.
04 - 240ml heavy cream.
05 - 120g freshly grated parmesan cheese.
06 - 450g cod fillets.
07 - 1 tablespoon lemon juice.
08 - A pinch of salt and pepper to taste.
09 - 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning.
10 - 1/2 tablespoon flour plus a bit more for coating.

# Instructions:

01 - Cut the cod into four pieces, season it, and lightly coat it with flour. Let it sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
02 - In butter, fry each side of the cod for 2 minutes. Set aside once done.
03 - Cook the garlic and flour in leftover butter for about a minute.
04 - Pour in the cream, squeeze in lemon, and mix in the seasoning. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
05 - Stir in parmesan and parsley. Return the cod to the skillet and warm for a few minutes.

# Notes:

01 - Heavy cream works best to prevent curdling when combined with lemon.
02 - Fresh parmesan will give the sauce a richer taste.
