Friendsgiving Casserole (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 lbs chicken thighs.
02 - 1 onion, sliced in half.
03 - 1 bulb garlic, halved.
04 - Half a carrot.
05 - 1 celery stalk.
06 - 1 spoon of salt.
07 - 1 spoon of whole peppercorns.
08 - Herbs of choice (rosemary, thyme, parsley).
09 - Enough water to cover.
10 - 1/4 cup unsalted butter.
11 - 1/2 cup diced celery.
12 - 1 cup diced onion.
13 - 1 clove of garlic.
14 - 3 spoons all-purpose flour.
15 - 1 1/2 cups chicken broth.
16 - 1 cup heavy cream.
17 - 1/2 cup sour cream.
18 - Salt and black pepper, to taste.
19 - 6 oz seasoned stuffing mix.
20 - 1/4 cup butter, melted.
21 - 1 cup chicken broth.
22 - Fresh parsley for garnish.

# Instructions:

01 - Simmer the stock ingredients for 15-20 minutes, then pull the chicken out.
02 - Let the broth cook longer, then strain it.
03 - Melt some butter. Cook celery and onion until tender.
04 - Stir in garlic and cook for another 2 minutes.
05 - Stir in the flour, then add the broth and let it get thick.
06 - Mix in the creams and adjust seasoning.
07 - Set the oven at 350°. Shred the chicken and stir it into the sauce.
08 - Grease a baking dish and spoon in the chicken mixture.
09 - Spread stuffing on top and pour the butter-broth over it.
10 - Bake for 30 minutes until golden. Sprinkle parsley on top.
