Set the oven to 350°F and lightly coat an 8x8 baking pan with grease.

Stir pecan pieces, brown sugar, cinnamon, and 2 tablespoons of melted butter together in a mixing bowl.

Separate crescent dough into triangles after unrolling. Add a piece of cream cheese and a spoonful of pecan mix to the bigger end of each triangle. Roll them up tight and pinch the edges closed.

Put the rolled triangles into the greased pan. Drizzle the rest of the melted butter on top, followed by the leftover pecan mix.

Pour cream soda evenly around the rolls, then bake for 30-35 minutes until the tops turn golden. Enjoy while warm.
