Cranberry Sangria (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 bottle (750 ml) of red wine.
02 - 1 cup of brandy.
03 - 2 cups of cranberries.
04 - 1/4 cup of sugar.
05 - 1 orange, cut into slices.
06 - 1 apple, diced into cubes.
07 - 4 whole star anise pods.
08 - 2 cinnamon sticks.
09 - 4 sprigs of rosemary, extra for decoration.
10 - Chilled bottle of sparkling apple cider.
11 - Cinnamon sugar mix for rimming (optional).
12 - Honey or maple syrup for rimming (optional).

# Instructions:

01 - In a large pitcher, combine the wine, brandy, sugar, fruits, cinnamon sticks, star anise, and rosemary sprigs.
02 - Cover it up and let it sit overnight in the fridge so the flavors mingle.
03 - Pour in chilled sparkling cider right before serving.
04 - Coat the rim of each glass with honey or syrup, then dip into the cinnamon sugar mix.
05 - Serve it over ice and top with some rosemary sprigs as a finishing touch.
