Hearty Rustic Dish (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Proteins and Meats

01 - 300 g sausage
02 - A slice of bacon or pancetta
03 - 20 g butter

→ Veggies and Beans

04 - A cup of lentils
05 - One carrot
06 - Two onions

→ Seasonings

07 - Four cups of broth
08 - Vinegar to your liking

# Instructions:

01 - Slice the onions super thin and cook them with the butter until soft.
02 - Cut the carrot into small rounds and toss it in with the onions. Let them cook together for a few minutes.
03 - Throw in the sausage and bacon. Cook until everything is nicely browned.
04 - Mix in the lentils and pour in the broth. Cover, and let it cook for 25 minutes over medium heat once it starts boiling.
05 - Drain the mixture (save the liquid if you want for soup!). Serve warm and splash on some vinegar to taste if you like.
