Christmas Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 large egg.
02 - 1 spoon almond essence.
03 - A soft 1 cup of butter (226g).
04 - 1 spoon vanilla extract.
05 - 2 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour (293g).
06 - Half a spoon of table salt.
07 - 3/4 cup of granulated sugar (150g).

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350° and let it warm up.
02 - Whip the butter with the sugar and salt till the mix is light and airy.
03 - Stir in the egg, almond flavor, and vanilla. Be sure to clean the sides of your bowl.
04 - Toss in food coloring here if you'd like.
05 - Slowly work in the flour till you've got soft dough.
06 - Load the dough into the press and press onto your baking sheet.
07 - Feel free to sprinkle some decor on top now.
08 - Pop them into the oven for about 8 minutes. Stop once the edges barely turn golden.
09 - Let 'em sit for a few, then move over to a rack to cool completely.

# Notes:

01 - Sprinkles stick better after baking, so wait till they cool.
02 - Skipping the baking paper is best to avoid slipping.
03 - Gel colors blend in really well.
04 - Don’t frost cookies till they’ve chilled a bit.
05 - Keep an eye on them—they darken really quickly.
