Nestlé Toll House Treat (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cake Base

01 - 1 package of instant chocolate pudding (3.9 oz)
02 - 1 box of Devil's Food cake mix
03 - 3/4 of a cup of sour cream or buttermilk, whichever you prefer
04 - 5 large eggs
05 - 1 cup of brewed coffee, cooled
06 - 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
07 - 3/4 cup of vegetable oil
08 - 2 cups of chocolate chips (I like Nestlé Toll House)

→ Chocolate Ganache Layer

09 - 1 stick of salted butter, melted
10 - 3 tablespoons of milk
11 - 1 teaspoon of vanilla
12 - 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
13 - 1/2 cup of pecans, chopped
14 - Half a box of powdered sugar

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Give your bundt pan a generous coating of grease.
02 - In a big mixing bowl, stir together the pudding powder with the cake mix.
03 - Whisk sour cream (or buttermilk), eggs, coffee, oil, and vanilla together in a separate bowl until silky.
04 - Slowly mix the wet ingredients into the dry ones until combined. Once blended, fold in your chocolate chips.
05 - Pour the batter into the greased bundt pan and bake for around 45 minutes. Afterward, let it rest for 10 minutes before putting it onto a plate.
06 - On low heat, melt butter in a pan. Stir in cocoa, powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk until smooth. Toss in the chopped pecans.
07 - Drizzle your warm ganache all over the cake. Serve warm and, if you’re feeling fancy, add some ice cream on top!

# Notes:

01 - Coffee amps up the chocolate flavor without making it taste like coffee.
02 - Skip the pecans if you’d rather go nut-free.
03 - Let the cake cool at least 10 minutes in the pan so it doesn’t fall apart as you move it.
