Place a large Dutch oven on high heat and toss in the ground beef. Keep stirring until it's no longer pink and crumbled into small chunks.

Mix in the bell peppers and chopped onions. Keep cooking until the meat is fully browned and the onions are soft and clear. This should take roughly 5 minutes.

Transfer the meat and veggie mixture into a large mesh strainer, pressing down to remove any extra fat.

Put the drained mixture back into the Dutch oven. Add the pineapple chunks, stewed tomatoes, kidney beans, tomato sauce, chili powder, and salt. Give everything a good stir.

Bring the pot to a boil, then drop the heat to medium-low. Cook uncovered for around 10 minutes, or until you like the thickness.
