Hawaiian Sweet-Spicy Chili (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 teaspoons salt
02 - 2 tablespoons chili powder
03 - 1 (16 ounce) can pineapple chunks, drained
04 - 2 (15.5 ounce) cans kidney beans, with liquid
05 - 1 (16 ounce) can tomato sauce
06 - 2 (16 ounce) cans stewed tomatoes, with juice
07 - 2 red bell peppers, seeded and chopped
08 - 6 onions, chopped
09 - 2 pounds ground beef

# Instructions:

01 - Place a large Dutch oven on high heat and toss in the ground beef. Keep stirring until it's no longer pink and crumbled into small chunks.
02 - Mix in the bell peppers and chopped onions. Keep cooking until the meat is fully browned and the onions are soft and clear. This should take roughly 5 minutes.
03 - Transfer the meat and veggie mixture into a large mesh strainer, pressing down to remove any extra fat.
04 - Put the drained mixture back into the Dutch oven. Add the pineapple chunks, stewed tomatoes, kidney beans, tomato sauce, chili powder, and salt. Give everything a good stir.
05 - Bring the pot to a boil, then drop the heat to medium-low. Cook uncovered for around 10 minutes, or until you like the thickness.
