Cheesy Delmonico Casserole (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 20 oz bag of Simply Potatoes.
02 - 3/4 cup of any milk you like.
03 - Same amount—3/4 cup—of heavy cream.
04 - A teaspoon of kosher salt.
05 - One teaspoon of dry mustard powder.
06 - A pinch of black pepper.
07 - A tiny bit of nutmeg.
08 - 1 cup of shredded sharp cheddar cheese.
09 - 3 tablespoons of butter, chopped into 6 pieces.
10 - A sprinkle of paprika on top.

# Instructions:

01 - Coat an 8x8 casserole dish generously with butter.
02 - Distribute the potatoes evenly in the dish.
03 - In a saucepan, whisk together the milk, cream, salt, mustard, pepper, and nutmeg.
04 - Heat the mixture on medium heat while stirring, just until it’s close to boiling. This takes 5–10 minutes.
05 - Toss the cheese into the warm mixture, turn the heat low, and stir until it’s fully melted.
06 - Pour the cheesy sauce all over the potatoes.
07 - Set it aside to cool down a bit.
08 - Place the butter pieces on the surface.
09 - Dust the top lightly with paprika.
10 - Wrap the dish tightly using plastic wrap.
11 - Pop it in the fridge for at least 12 hours, or overnight.
12 - Preheat your oven to 350°F.
13 - Bake it uncovered for 45 minutes.
