Cheesy Beef Dinner (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Meat & Pasta Base

01 - 1 small onion, diced finely
02 - 1 pound (450g) ground beef
03 - 12 ounces (340g) medium pasta shells
04 - 2 cloves garlic, minced fresh

→ Sauce Additions

05 - 1/2 cup (120g) sour cream
06 - 1/2 cup (120ml) beef broth
07 - 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes with their juices
08 - 1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup

→ Cheesy Topping

09 - 1 cup (100g) mozzarella cheese, freshly shredded
10 - 2 cups (200g) cheddar cheese, freshly shredded

→ Flavor Enhancers

11 - 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
12 - 1 teaspoon of Italian herbs
13 - 1/2 teaspoon of smoked paprika
14 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
15 - 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper, freshly cracked

# Instructions:

01 - Turn on your oven and preheat it to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch dish to stop any sticking.
02 - Cook your pasta shells in salty boiling water until they’re cooked but still firm (al dente). Drain the water, then leave the pasta to cool down slightly.
03 - Heat up a big skillet over medium heat and cook your beef with the onion until the onion softens and the meat is no longer pink. Add your garlic right at the end for just a minute to bring out its aroma. Drain out any extra grease.
04 - Mix in the diced tomatoes, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and beef broth into the meat mixture. Add the Italian herbs, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer and blend the flavors together.
05 - Take your drained pasta shells and gently coat them in the rich, flavorful meat sauce. Pour everything into the greased baking dish and cover the top with a mix of mozzarella and cheddar cheeses.
06 - Bake this dish in your preheated oven for about 20 to 25 minutes. You’re looking for that perfectly melted, golden-brown cheesy top.
07 - When it’s out of the oven, sprinkle freshly chopped parsley on top for a fresh pop of green. Serve hot while the cheese is gooey and irresistible.

# Notes:

01 - A pinch of chili flakes can add just the right kick of heat.
02 - Throw in some veggies like fresh mushrooms or peas to bulk it up.
03 - Want it extra creamy? Blend 1/4 cup of cream cheese into the sauce.
