Cheesy Rigatoni Dish (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound of rigatoni.
02 - 1 tablespoon of olive oil, any kind you like.
03 - 1 cup of diced yellow onion.
04 - 1 pound of ground Italian sausage or beef.
05 - Four minced garlic cloves.
06 - 48 ounces of your favorite marinara sauce.
07 - 1 teaspoon of an Italian herb blend.
08 - 1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper.
09 - 1/2 cup of Parmesan, grated.
10 - 6 ounces of mozzarella, shredded.
11 - 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano.
12 - A sprinkle of fresh parsley to garnish.

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 375°F and grease a 9x13 pan lightly.
02 - Boil rigatoni in well-salted water just until barely tender. Drain it off.
03 - Sauté onions in olive oil. Brown ground meat with onions, then add garlic. Stir in marinara and seasonings, letting it simmer for about 10 minutes.
04 - Stir cooked pasta with the sauce plus part of the Parmesan. Spread into the prepared dish.
05 - Put mozzarella, the leftover Parmesan, and dried oregano on top. Cover with foil that’s been oiled lightly.
06 - Bake it with foil for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake another 5-10 minutes till the cheese is golden and bubbling.

01 - You can assemble this ahead of time and refrigerate.
02 - Freezing works for up to three months.
03 - Stays fresh in the fridge for 3-4 days.
