Mix together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Scoop into a piping bag.

Flatten each cookie dough piece. Spoon jam in the center, then pipe the cream cheese mixture around the jam.

Fold the dough over into a half-moon and press the edges tightly to seal them shut.

Heat oil to 175°C and fry each side for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
