Cottage Cheese Tuna Salad (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Protein Base

01 - Three cans (5oz each) of white albacore tuna, drained thoroughly
02 - 1/3-1/2 cup of cottage cheese

→ Fresh Vegetables & Herbs

03 - One garlic clove, microplaned or chopped finely
04 - Two tablespoons of fresh parsley, chives, or dill
05 - Three tablespoons of minced red onion
06 - One stalk of celery, chopped fine

→ Condiments & Seasonings

07 - A tablespoon of Dijon mustard
08 - Quarter teaspoon of salt (taste and add more if needed)
09 - Minced sweet or dill pickles, two to three tablespoons
10 - A teaspoon of lemon juice, adjust to your liking
11 - Half teaspoon of black pepper, more if needed
12 - Hot sauce to taste (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Blend the cottage cheese till it’s creamy, or keep it textured if that’s your preference
02 - Combine tuna, cottage cheese (blended or not), veggies, herbs, and all the seasonings in a medium-sized bowl
03 - Use it in lettuce wraps, on crackers, in a sandwich, or however you like

# Notes:

01 - You can tweak the amount of cottage cheese based on how thick you want the mix
02 - Keep cottage cheese slightly lumpy or blend smooth as per preference
03 - Plenty of ways to serve it up
04 - Season to suit your taste
