Cheddar Ranch Chicken Pasta (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 cups of chicken broth
02 - 1 lb diced chicken breast
03 - 1 lb sliced smoked beef sausage
04 - 12 oz of penne or rotini noodles
05 - 1 cup of cheddar cheese, shredded
06 - 1 cup heavy cream
07 - 2 tbsp homemade or 1 packet of ranch seasoning
08 - 1 tbsp of butter or olive oil
09 - Green onions or parsley (optional)
10 - Pepper and salt to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Put butter or oil in a big pot and warm it on medium heat. Toss in the diced chicken, season it with a bit of salt and pepper, and cook until it turns golden brown.
02 - Drop in the sliced sausage next and let it cook for 2–3 minutes until the edges are golden.
03 - Pour in the pasta, ranch seasoning, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Stir well so everything blends together.
04 - Pop the lid on and let it cook over medium-low heat for 12–15 minutes. Wait until the pasta is soft and most of the liquid is gone.
05 - Toss in the shredded cheddar and stir. Keep mixing until it’s all creamy and combined.
06 - If you like, sprinkle some parsley or green onions on top. Serve while it’s hot and steaming.
