Cheddar Bacon Party Dip (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (1 ounce).
02 - 3 oz crispy bacon bits.
03 - 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded.
04 - 16 oz of sour cream.
05 - Chopped shallots (optional).
06 - Optional: A dash of hot sauce.

# Instructions:

01 - Stir everything together in a bowl.
02 - Let it sit in the fridge at least an hour, or even better, overnight.
03 - Pair with pretzels, crackers, or some crunchy chips.

# Notes:

01 - Using bagged shredded cheese saves time, but grating your own works great too.
02 - Homemade bacon bits? Just drain them well first.
03 - Dice up some shallots for a flavor boost.
04 - Store it in an airtight container, keeps for up to 4 days.
05 - Chilling allows the flavors to come together nicely.
