Boil the water with the tea and spices mixed in. Let it simmer gently for 5 minutes so the flavors blend together.

Turn off the heat and add honey and vanilla extract. Stir until the honey fully dissolves. If you're using a vanilla pod, take it out now along with the tea bags.

Allow the tea to cool to room temperature. If you're in a rush, just set it in an ice bath to chill faster.

Use a milk frother to froth your milk, or seal it in a jar and shake hard. A whisk works too if you'd rather warm it slightly first.

Fill up a glass with ice, pour in the cooled tea until it's two-thirds full, and top it off with the frothed milk. Add the vanilla extract here if you skipped the bean earlier.
