Light Quiche Delight (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Quiche Base

01 - 1 pre-rolled puff pastry sheet
02 - 500 g of carrots
03 - 1 can of tuna
04 - A handful of shredded cheese

→ Filling Preparation

05 - 3 eggs
06 - 200 ml of heavy cream (or soy sauce if preferred)
07 - 2 shallots
08 - Half a bunch of parsley
09 - 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of cumin (optional)
10 - Salt - to taste
11 - Pepper - to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to heat up to 180°C (or thermostat 6).
02 - Place your puff pastry in a tart pan (28 cm). Use a fork to poke holes all over it.
03 - Finely chop the parsley and shallots. Clean, peel, and grate the carrots.
04 - Whisk together the eggs and cream in a large bowl. Mix in the cumin (if you'd like), grated carrots, flaked tuna, chopped shallots, and parsley. Add salt and pepper to taste.
05 - Pour the mixture into the tart crust and sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
06 - Pop it into the oven and bake for about 45 minutes.
07 - Serve it warm with a nice salad on the side.

01 - Try swapping some carrots for parsnips or celeriac as a variation!
