# Ingredients:

→ For the Cake

01 - 150g white sugar
02 - 3 ripe pears
03 - 1 tablespoon liquid vanilla
04 - 100ml milk
05 - A pinch of salt
06 - 3 eggs
07 - 100g butter
08 - 1 packet of baking powder
09 - 150g flour

→ For the Caramel

10 - 50g butter
11 - 100g sugar

# Instructions:

01 - Peel the pears and cut them into slices. Make a golden caramel with the sugar, then mix in the butter followed by the pear slices.
02 - Whip the butter and sugar until it looks pale and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time. Gradually fold in the flour mixed with baking powder and salt, alternating with the milk.
03 - Layer the caramel-coated pears at the bottom of the pan. Pour the batter over the top. Bake at 180°C for 30-40 minutes.
04 - Test the cake with a toothpick to make sure it's done. Take it out of the pan while still warm.

# Notes:

01 - Pick pears that are firm but ripe to get the best flavor and texture.
02 - Warm demolding is key for getting that caramel to look and taste just right.
