Buttery Herb Dip (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
02 - 2 teaspoons minced garlic
03 - 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
04 - 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, softened
05 - 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
06 - 1/2 teaspoon paprika
07 - 1 tablespoon fresh chives, finely chopped
08 - 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
09 - 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
10 - 1 tablespoon coarse Dijon mustard
11 - 2 teaspoons fresh thyme
12 - 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes

# Instructions:

01 - Stir the softened butter together with all the seasonings and herbs until smooth.
02 - Wrap in plastic, roll into a log, and chill it for at least 2 hours until firm.
03 - Heat it in a microwave for 20 seconds at a time until it turns liquidy.
04 - Pop it into an airtight container and stick it in the fridge for up to 5 days.

# Notes:

01 - Works as a dip or spread.
02 - Yields about 2/3 cup.
03 - You can throw it all into a food processor to mix.
