Get the oven heated up to 375°F. Stir together the cinnamon and sugar for coating, and put it aside.

Cream the butter with powdered sugar and vanilla until fluffy. Fold in the flour, salt, and pecans until the mixture forms a dough.

Roll about 1½ tablespoons of dough into small balls, and space them an inch apart on your baking tray.

Let them bake for 9-12 minutes. Afterward, cool them directly on the tray for 5 minutes.

While still warm, coat each cookie generously in the cinnamon sugar mixture till covered.
