Turn your oven on to 425°F. Evenly spread the rice across a square baking pan.

Drizzle the French onion soup and beef broth on top of the rice.

Dot the rice with pieces of butter. You can toss in some black pepper if you want.

Cover it with foil and put it in the oven for 25 minutes.

Take off the foil and bake for another 25 minutes. Let it cool a bit before digging in.
