Broccoli garlic sauce (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 medium head of broccoli.
02 - 1 small carrot.
03 - 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce.
04 - 1 teaspoon of salt for blanching.
05 - 1 pinch of white pepper.
06 - 1 teaspoon of cornstarch.
07 - 1/8 teaspoon of salt for the sauce.
08 - 1 tablespoon of neutral flavored oil.
09 - 5 tablespoons of water.
10 - 4 garlic cloves.

# Instructions:

01 - Slice the broccoli into florets and cut the carrot into circles.
02 - Cook the broccoli for 1 to 1.5 minutes, then toss in the carrots for an extra 1 minute.
03 - Stir together oyster sauce, cornstarch, water, salt, and a dash of white pepper.
04 - Sauté the garlic, drizzle in the sauce, toss in the veggies, and give it all a good stir.

01 - Blanching keeps the vegetables crisp and vibrant.
02 - Cornstarch thickens the sauce quickly once heated.
