Bold Cinnamon Chews (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 teaspoon of red food coloring gel.
02 - 2 teaspoons of cinnamon oil.
03 - 1 cup butter, and extra for greasing the pan.
04 - 1½ cups of heavy whipping cream.
05 - 1½ cups of light corn syrup.
06 - 2 cups of granulated white sugar.

# Instructions:

01 - Lightly butter a 9x13 dish and leave it ready to use.
02 - In a big pot, mix together the sugar, corn syrup, cream, and butter. Stir over medium heat constantly until the temperature hits 240°F, which might take about half an hour.
03 - Take the mixture off the heat, then mix in the cinnamon oil and red food coloring.
04 - Pour the mixture into the buttered pan. Let it cool completely at room temperature before setting it further in the fridge.
05 - Before cutting it, let it rest at room temperature for about 10-15 minutes. Wrap the pieces in wax paper to keep fresh.

01 - Temperature must hit precisely 240°F.
02 - Needs constant stirring to avoid burning.
03 - Wrap each piece individually for best storage.
