Lightly butter a 9x13 dish and leave it ready to use.

In a big pot, mix together the sugar, corn syrup, cream, and butter. Stir over medium heat constantly until the temperature hits 240°F, which might take about half an hour.

Take the mixture off the heat, then mix in the cinnamon oil and red food coloring.

Pour the mixture into the buttered pan. Let it cool completely at room temperature before setting it further in the fridge.
