Beef Noodles Quick (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound ground beef, lean.
02 - 6 minced garlic cloves.
03 - 4 teaspoons minced fresh ginger.
04 - 1/2 cup broth made from beef.
05 - 1/2 cup brown sugar or less to taste.
06 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, freshly cracked.
07 - 1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes (optional).
08 - 4 tablespoons hoisin sauce for flavor.
09 - 1/2 cup soy sauce (low-sodium).
10 - 10 ounces spaghetti or linguine noodles.
11 - 1 tablespoon cornstarch for thickening.
12 - 2 tablespoons of water to mix with cornstarch.
13 - 4 sliced green onions, for topping.

# Instructions:

01 - In a big pan, cook the beef till browned.
02 - Add minced ginger and garlic close to the end of cooking. Crumble the beef as it cooks.
03 - Boil pasta and skip the salt.
04 - Pour off the fat, then put beef back in your skillet.
05 - Stir in hoisin, soy sauce, broth, brown sugar, black pepper, and chili flakes.
06 - Combine water with cornstarch, then stir it into the beef. Cook until thicker.
07 - Toss the cooked noodles into the sauce. Let it rest a bit so the flavors soak in.
08 - Top everything with green onions.
