Garlic Butter Beef Pasta (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Beef and Pasta

01 - 1 lb (450g) ground beef
02 - 12 oz (340g) bowtie pasta (farfalle)
03 - 1 small onion, chopped finely
04 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
05 - 2 cloves garlic, crushed
06 - 1/2 teaspoon optional red pepper flakes
07 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
08 - Salt and pepper as needed

→ Butter Garlic Sauce

09 - 3 tablespoons butter (unsalted)
10 - 1 cup (100g) shredded mozzarella
11 - 1 cup (240ml) milk
12 - 1 tablespoon regular flour
13 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
14 - 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, diced
15 - 1/2 cup (50g) Parmesan, grated

# Instructions:

01 - Cook pasta until just soft enough to chew, keeping 1/2 cup of the boiling water before draining
02 - Sauté beef with oil, toss in onion, garlic, and spices until the veggies turn tender
03 - Melt butter, mix in garlic and flour, then slowly add milk while stirring until it thickens
04 - Blend cheeses into the sauce, add pasta and beef, pour in saved pasta water if too thick
05 - Add parsley and sprinkle on more Parmesan if you like

# Notes:

01 - Swap ground beef with turkey or chicken if you'd like
02 - Toss in some spinach or mushrooms for a healthier touch
03 - Keep leftovers in the fridge, good for up to 3 days
