Turn oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13-inch dish. Cook the ziti until it's just barely soft.

In a big pan, brown the sausage over medium heat until fully cooked. Scoop out with a spoon that drains the grease.

In a large bowl, stir together the pasta, sausage, sauce, half the Romano, and the mozzarella cubes.

Spoon the mixture into the baking dish. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and the rest of the Romano on top.

Cover with foil and bake at 350°F for about 45 minutes. Take off the foil, raise the heat to 375°F, and bake for another 15-20 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
