Set your oven to 400°F to warm up.

Coat your baking tray with the cooking spray.

Mix the flour, salt, baking powder, and cinnamon in a bowl.

Melt the butter, and then mix it with sugar, a beaten egg, vanilla, and the applesauce.

Mix the dry and wet ingredients together gently, then stir in the chopped apples.

Scoop out 1 tablespoon of the mixture for each fritter, place on the baking tray, and bake for about 10 minutes.

Blend the powdered sugar with the apple cider until it becomes thin and smooth.

Switch on your broiler, coat the fritters with some glaze, and broil for 2-4 mins. Rotate the pan every minute so they don't burn, then pour extra glaze on top and cool for 15 mins.
