Brown Sugar Bacon Smokies (Print Version)

01 - 16 oz package of little smokies sausages
02 - 1 pound of thin bacon, cut into thirds
03 - 3/4 cup of packed brown sugar
04 - Freshly ground black pepper, adjust as needed

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F. Spray your dish or sheet pan with nonstick spray, or cover it with foil so cleaning up is a breeze.
02 - Dry off the sausages, then roll each one in a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
03 - Pour brown sugar into a big zip-top bag. Toss in a few bacon-wrapped sausages at a time, shaking to fully coat. Move them to the baking pan.
04 - Sprinkle some freshly ground black pepper over your wrapped sausages to your liking.
05 - Pop them in the oven for 30-35 minutes until the bacon is golden. Want them crispier? Broil for a few extra minutes until they’re as crunchy as you want.
