Combine the softened butter with the maple syrup. Stir it all together until it’s totally smooth.

Spread the maple butter mix on one side of each piece of bread. Lay a slice of cheese on half the bread slices. Add two bacon slices and another slice of cheese on top. Use the rest of the bread to cover them up.

Warm up a pan over medium-low heat. Cook the sandwiches, flipping them once, for about 10–12 minutes, or until the bread turns golden and the cheese melts nicely.
