Set your oven to 180°C and let it warm up.

Whisk the eggs together with the regular sugar and vanilla sugar until you see a pale, thick mixture.

Gently stir in the yogurt and sifted flour mixed with the baking powder.

Slowly fold in melted butter, rum, and a small pinch of salt.

Slice the apples thinly and mix them into the batter.

Pour the mixture into a greased and floured cake tin.

Bake for 35–40 minutes until golden and crispy on top.
